AUZOXYPOD 200 Tablet is a prescription antibiotic in the cephalosporin class, used to treat a wide range of bacterial infections such as respiratory tract infections (including pneumonia and bronchitis), urinary tract infections, skin infections, sinusitis, throat infections, and some sexually transmitted infections like gonorrhea. It works by inhibiting bacterial cell wall synthesis, ultimately killing the bacteria.

Dosage and Administration

• Adults and teenagers (12 years and older): 200mg every 12 hours, with the dose and duration dependent on the specific infection (e.g., 10-14 days for pneumonia or bronchitis).

• The tablet is usually taken with food to increase absorption and reduce stomach upset.

• Always follow the full prescribed course, even if symptoms improve earlier.
